Check out what happened in Murder Mystery!

In this cinematic delight, we meet Nick Spitz (Adam Sandler), a well-meaning but hapless New York police officer, and his loving wife Audrey (Jennifer Aniston), a talented hairdresser with a passion for exploring the world. As their 15th wedding anniversary approaches, Audrey's wanderlust becomes increasingly insistent, prompting her to confront Nick about the long-promised European getaway they never seem to take. With a mischievous twinkle in his eye, Nick convinces Audrey that he's finally booked the trip, and they set off on an adventure of a lifetime.

As they soar through the skies, Audrey strikes up a conversation with charming billionaire Charles Cavendish (Luke Evans), who invites them aboard his luxurious family yacht for a swanky party celebrating his elderly uncle's upcoming nuptials. With their initially planned bus tour looking more like a chaotic free-for-all than a relaxing getaway, Nick agrees to join the high-society shindig. Little do they know, this seemingly idyllic gathering will soon descend into chaos and murder.

Upon arrival at the opulent yacht, Nick and Audrey are introduced to an eclectic array of characters, including Cavendish's ex-fiancée Suzi (Shiori Kutsuna), who's about to tie the knot with his uncle Malcolm Quince; Tobey (David Walliams), a charming but troubled young man who just happens to be Malcolm's son and a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community; actress Grace Ballard (Gemma Arterton); Colonel Ulenga (John Kani), a war hero with a storied past; Sergei (Ólafur Darri Olafsson), Cavendish's stoic bodyguard; the Maharaja Vikram (Adeel Akhtar) of Mumbai, a suave and sophisticated gentleman; and Juan Carlos Rivera (Luis Gerardo Méndez), a charismatic race car driver with a penchant for speed.

As the evening wears on, Malcolm Quince announces that he's rewritten his will to leave everything to Suzi, much to the dismay of his guests. But just as things seem like they're about to get interesting, the lights flicker and then go out, only to come back on with a jolt – revealing the lifeless body of Malcolm Quince, stabbed through the heart by his own dagger.

With tensions running high and suspicion hanging thick in the air, Nick, who's been keeping secrets from Audrey (he's not actually an NYPD detective, despite claiming to be), takes charge and orders the yacht locked down. But as the night wears on, another body is discovered – that of Tobey, Malcolm's troubled son, who's left a cryptic suicide note taking the blame for his father's murder.

As the guests arrive in Monte Carlo, they're met with a flurry of questions from Inspector Laurent Delacroix (Dany Boon), who's convinced that Nick and Audrey are behind it all – not to mention their own guilty consciences. With the body count rising and the stakes reaching a fever pitch, this cinematic romp hurtles towards its thrilling conclusion, full of twists, turns, and enough suspense to keep you on the edge of your seat.

As the Monaco Grand Prix comes to a close, Nick and Audrey find themselves embroiled in a web of deceit as they quiz the evening's guests. The night takes a dark turn when Sergei summons them to his room, where he reveals a shocking secret: Quince had married Colonel's fiancée while the Colonel was in a coma, resulting in her tragic death and the birth of a son who was allegedly stillborn. This revelation sparks a sense of unease as Sergei also shares that years later, the Colonel sought guidance on how to eliminate Malcolm, fueled by a deep-seated anger towards his former rival for marrying the love of his life.

As the couple tries to process this bombshell, they're suddenly interrupted by an unexpected knock at the door. They hide in silence, their hearts racing with anticipation. When the coast is clear, they cautiously emerge to find Sergei's lifeless body, a grim reminder that nothing is as it seems. With trepidation, Nick and Audrey make a daring escape by scaling the building's exterior, their eyes scanning the grounds below for any signs of danger.

Their flight is cut short when they stumble upon the news broadcast announcing Delacroix's warrant for their arrest. The revelation sparks a fierce argument between the pair, with Audrey's anger fueled by her discovery that Nick is not a detective and had lied about booking the trip in advance. Feeling betrayed, she departs with Cavendish, leaving Nick to ponder his own identity crisis.

Nick's search for answers leads him to a local library, where he reunites with Audrey and uncovers a surprising truth: Cavendish and Suzi are still deeply in love, their passion rekindled amidst the chaos. As they navigate this new development, they find themselves pursued by a hidden gunman, forced to seek refuge with Rivera.

Their brief respite is shattered when Suzi confronts them, only to meet her untimely demise at the hands of a masked killer. Nick and Audrey are left reeling as they make their way to Quince's mansion, determined to confront Cavendish once and for all. However, they arrive too late to find him already deceased, his life extinguished by poisoning.

With the remaining suspects in custody - Colonel, Grace, Vikram, and Rivera - Nick and Audrey are left to piece together the puzzle of deceit and betrayal. Through a process of elimination, they deduce that the true culprit is none other than Grace herself, her actions fueled by a desire for justice and retribution. As the truth is revealed, it becomes clear that she was aided in her crime by Tobey before ultimately eliminating him.

In a stunning twist, Grace reveals that she is Quince's long-lost daughter, thought to have perished in infancy but secretly alive all along. Her claim to the late Quince's fortune serves as a motive for her actions, though she vehemently denies being the killer. Ultimately, however, the evidence proves too great, and Grace is taken into custody, bringing an end to the tangled web of lies and deception that has ensnared Nick and Audrey throughout their ordeal.

As the revelry dies down, a stunning revelation shakes Nick and Audrey: it becomes clear that Grace had an airtight alibi for the time Sergei met his untimely demise, leaving them to confront the inescapable truth - there's another killer lurking in the shadows. The game's afoot as they unravel the tangled threads of deceit, leading them straight to Rivera, the calculating culprit who had been masquerading as an innocent bystander.

Their discovery sparks a chain reaction of events as Rivera seizes Delacroix as leverage, initiating a heart-pumping car chase through the city streets. Nick and Audrey's tenacious pursuit forces Rivera's vehicle off the road, allowing them to rescue their hostage friend. The would-be assassin finds himself cornered, with no escape route in sight.

However, fate intervenes in the form of an out-of-control tour bus, careening wildly down the highway. In a bizarre twist of irony, the very vehicle Nick and Audrey had initially planned to board earlier now becomes the instrument of Rivera's downfall. As the dust settles, Delacroix expresses his gratitude to the duo for foiling the plot and offers to help Nick regain his detective stripes back home.

As their vacation reaches its climax, Nick and Audrey find themselves aboard the illustrious Orient Express, courtesy of Interpol, embarking on a luxurious journey that will take them across exotic landscapes.
